Characters George Milton: George is a small witty man and is smart in the way he goes about things, he basically Lennie Small's carer. Lennie Small: Lennie Small is a hard working man, he loves small fluffy animals and his dread is to pet and tend to them. He has a mental disability so is reliant on George to look after him. Candy:

This book written by John Steinbeck is about two characters called Lennie and George, they both have a dream of owning a little farm and owning it between the two of them, Lennies main dream is to look after and care for white rabbits. They travel through soledad looking for work. They settle at a ranch and they would work there to keep their earnings. Lennie is quite slow and has the thought process of a child, but hes a fantastic worker and he contributes a lot towards owning the farm house. This book is essentially what it is like to be human. This book illustrates what it is really like to work for something that you really want.
DEATH TO THE ARISTO'S:
My stomach churned when I saw the next lot of aristos get carried in, I could smell a few things, the cheap meats being cooked, and I could smell the hefty odor of sweat, and the strong smell of blood, it was gushing down the middle of the arena, going down a drain of some sort. It was putrid, every single person enjoyed it so much, and I was the odd one out of the bunch. As soon as the Aristos reached the center of the arena there was a sudden wave of mixed voices screaming and cheering “Death to the Aristos” I saw the sudden change of facial expression on the Aristocrats, it seemed that as they walk up to the Madam la Guillotine they were already drained of life before they had even died, as they creeped their heads in the small hole no bigger than a boule ball, as they wound up the blade there was a lot of anticipation, even though everybody knew that persons fate. As the blade slid down there was an outburst of energy within the crowd and then a sound that was imprinted in my brain immediately. The crack of the blade slicing through the Aristo’s neck and then finally dropped to the bottom of the frame. The arena was dead silent for the next couple of seconds, and then there was cheering from everywhere. I felt dizzy, tired and scarred, this event will stay in my brain forever, and it is trapped there. Why are people enjoying this, it is inhumane and people are celebrating. Maybe I was born too early, I would never like to relive this occasion again. This will stay with me to my grave.
